Synopsis
Currently, in Japanese society, there exists many issues which are not dealt with. These include quing children who are waiting to be accepted for nursery school and aging society welfare issues. Tomoko Sato is an ordinary housewife who lives with her husband and child. Tomoko feels that she has to support her family by finding a high paying job. In the midst of this dilemma, she gets fired. Depressed, she catches a show on TV about an incident involving a city council and researches about it. She immediately gets mesmerized by the potential high payrate. From the data she finds online, it says there is an 80% chance for candidates to be elected as a city council member!? Although she has no educational background, could this be the beginning of her new challenge? Tomoko eventually calculates that a “high salary rate” will make her family happy and decides to fight for a position as a city council members. This is a story about a woman who simply wants “happiness,” therefore opens the way to new a chapter in her life. -- Fuji TV
